Reese Witherspoon and Mariska Hargitay Are All Smiles in Sweet Selfie all-available

Reese Witherspoon and Mariska Hargitay won over the hearts of fans simply by posing for a pic together while attending an event over the weekend.
The two actresses snapped a selfie while attending the G9 Ventures Summer Summit, the female entrepreneur-focused conference and networking event hosted by Amy Griffin, a successful investor with ties to Bumble, Goop and Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine media company.
Witherspoon, 47, posted the pic of her and Hargitay, 59, in a carousel of photos shared to Instagram on Sunday, July 30. The two leaned in before snapping the pic, which showed both smiling big for the camera.
“Best Conference Day with @g9_ventures @amygriffin #makingwaves and making friends with so many amazing Female Founders 🧡,” Witherspoon gushed in the caption.
Fans practically had a field day over the fact that the two are such good friends, with one writing, “love mariska is there.”
“Really like the picture of you and mariska Hargitay!” a second exclaimed.
The two pals were spotted hanging out together earlier this summer, taking their daughters to Nashville to see Taylor Swift in concert.
But Hargitay wasn’t the only A-lister featured in The Morning Show star’s latest Instagram dump as photos showed Gwyneth Paltrow, Sara Blakely, the inventor of Spanx, and founder/CEO of the popular dating app Bumble, Whitney Wolfe Herd, were also in attendance.
The actress also snapped a picture of herself posing in front of a bookshelf filled with stacks of reads featured in Reese’s Book Club–the reading club she founded to promote and discuss books that center women’s voices–as well as copies of her own book, Busy Betty, and her followers had a lot to say about that.

Singer-songwriter Holly Audrey Williams gushed, “LOVE the pic in front of the book stand, looks like a beautiful group of bad-assery [sic].”

Whether or not Witherspoon has plans to open a bookstore remains to be seen. That said, she has hosted book club “pop-ups” before, which were similar.
